Our Vision: At Lucky Dog Retreat Rescue, we envision a future where all dogs have a safe and loving home.

Our Mission: Our mission is to pull dogs from local shelters and adopt them out to loving homes.

Values:  Lucky Dog Retreat Rescue does not discriminate based on breed, age, or medical need. Our only requirement is that dogs can be safely boarded with others in a daycare setting.

Strategy:

• Educate new dog owners on the importance of vaccinations, particularly the PARVO vaccine. 
• We offer free vaccine clinics for DHPP (distemper / Parvo) vaccine and rabies when possible.
• We partner with local shelters to identify dogs in need that are stressed in a shelter setting, are seniors, or have medical conditions that will be a barrier to placing them on the adoption floor.
• We leverage our partnership with Lucky Dog Retreat’s daycare, boarding, training facilities, and personnel to provide a safe environment, perform temperament testing and provide training to help identify requirements for suitable homes.
• We leverage our relationship with Animal Medical Center to access high-quality, low-cost veterinary services to address dogs’ medical needs.
• We solicit support from our donor base and apply for grants from corporate and nonprofit entities to fund our mission.
